Saudi, Japanese defense ministers discuss enhancing military cooperation

TOKYO — Japan’s Defense Minister Yasukazu Hamada has received Saudi Arabia’s Defense Minister Prince Khalid bin Salman in the ministry’s headquarters in Tokyo.

Prince Khalid held a meeting with Hamada, during which they reviewed the relations between Saudi Arabia and Japan, as well as bilateral cooperation in the military and defense fields.

The two sides also reviewed the developments at regional and international levels, and efforts made in this regard, in addition to discussing a number of topics of common interest.

The meeting was attended by a number of officials from both sides.
