Are Visit visa holders permitted to perform the Hajj?

The Ministry of Tourism in Saudi Arabia declared that a tourist visa holder has no permission to participate in Hajj rituals at all.

As the Kingdom’s policies and instructions prohibit people who get a tourist visa for conducting Hajj while in the Kingdom from completing Umrah during Hajj season, which is set by the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah.

Tourist visa holders, on the other hand, can conduct Umrah on normal days by making an appointment through the Eatmarna or Tawakkalna apps. During the Hajj season, all Umrah is prohibited in order for people doing Hajj rituals to be as comfortable as possible.

In a statement, the Ministry of Tourism urged those planning to visit Saudi Arabia on a tourist visa to abide by the pledges that were approved, to review the instructions before obtaining the visa, and to fully comply with all instructions issued in this regard, as this helps to avoid any violations of the regulations.
