The steps for requesting an entry permission into Makkah for non-Saudi (expatriate) family members through absher were announced by the General Directorate of Passports (Jawazat) in Saudi Arabia.

Saudi Jawazat shared an infographic via its official account on Twitter, instructing users to follow the steps below to obtain admission permits for Makkah for non-Saudi family members via Absher persons account.

1. Log in to your Absher People account and validate the OTP.
   Click “Electronic Services” in step two.
   “Family Members Services” is the third item.
2. Select Makkah entry permit.
3. Make a request for a permission.

Before requesting an admission permit into Makkah during the Hajj season, the applicant’s iqama must be valid, and the user must be present in Saudi Arabia.

Following submission, the application will be processed, and the applicant will be notified via his account on the Absher platform. Only during the Hajj season, when an entry permit is required to enter Makkah, is this service offered.

How to apply for a domestic workers entry visa to Makkah:

1. Verify OTP and log into the Absher portal.
2. Select “Workers” after selecting “Electronic Services”.
3. Make sure “Entry permit to Makkah” is selected.
4. Make a request for a permission. The beneficiary’s Iqama must be legitimate, the beneficiary cannot be Huroob or absent from employment, and the applicant must be physically present in Saudi Arabia before requesting a permit.
   Saudi Arabia’s General Directorate of Passports (Jawazat) announced the steps to take in order to submit a request for a business or establishment’s entry permission into Makkah via the Muqeem portal.
