The Eastern Province’s Special Road Security Forces discovered a toddler who had been abandoned by her parents on the Dammam-Riyadh Highway. The child, who is in good health, was returned to her family by the military.

According to a statement on the Special Road Security Forces’ Twitter account, “its forces in the Eastern Province found a child who went missing after being forgotten by her family when they stopped (their vehicle) on the Dammam-Riyadh Highway.” “Praise be to God, the girl was handed over to them in good health,” the statement read.

Meanwhile, the Special Road Security Forces emphasized that highway users must follow traffic restrictions. It recommended motorists to heed safety recommendations when traveling on roads, especially given the current weather variances in various regions of the Kingdom.
