Umrah Pilgrims arrested by Saudi police after a fight in Makkah

Two pilgrims who got into a fight in Makkah’s Masjid al-Haram have been detained by Saudi police while they conduct an inquiry.

A video clip of two individuals fighting while donning ihram in the vicinity of Safa and Marwa mountain has gone viral on social media.

By Allah’s grace, there were no injuries recorded, and the pilgrims who engaged in the fight were prosecuted.

It is significant to remember that when we enter the condition of Ihram, we are forbidden from doing anything except praying and fasting. They would have been obliged to sacrifice a goat in Makkah as payment if the fight had caused an injury.
