Final 10 days of Ramadan, no permit is needed to pray in the Two Holy Mosques.

The Prophet’s Mosque in Madinah and the Great Mosque in Makkah are both open for prayer for the final ten days of the holy month of Ramadan, according to a Monday statement from the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah.

In response to questions from worshipers, the Department for Beneficiary Care Service under the ministry tweeted this information. With the condition that worshipers must not be infected with the coronavirus or have contact with someone who is, it was said in the announcement that no permit was required to offer prayers at the Two Holy Mosques.

In the meantime, the Ministry of Hajj disclosed that, provided there is no coronavirus infection or contact with an infected person, a permit is required to perform Umrah or visit the Rawdah Sharif at the Prophet’s Mosque. The appointment must be made through the Nusuk application or the Tawakkalna application.
