Iqama to family visit visa conversion
Step 1: Schedule a Jawazat
To attend the passport office, you must schedule a Jawazat appointment with the “Resident Services” option.
Jawazat King Fahad Road in Riyadh.
Jawazat Rehab in Jeddah.
Step 2 is to go to Jawazat.
If you have all of the aforementioned paperwork, visit the Jawazat office that handles family problems in your city.
After you turn in all of your paperwork during the designated window, a Jawazat officer will check it and ask that the family visit visa on your child’s passport be revoked.
Step 3: Return to Jawazat.
Visit the same Jawazat office again to see if your request has been approved after almost a week of presenting your passports. You’ll have to make another payment to him.
Step 4 is to make the dependant payment.
If your request is granted, you must pay the dependant fee for each of your kids up until the expiration date of your Iqama.
Step 5: Change Family Visit Visa
The Jawazat officer will change the family visit visa to an Iqama, or a permanent family visa in Saudi Arabia, and issue you the following document, so return to the same window with the payment evidence.
Step 6: Print the Iqama.
Bring this paper to the window where Iqama is printed now, and the officer will print a copy of Iqama right away. That’s it; you’ve just turned your temporary family visa into a permanent one.
