Expat residents who intend to leave Saudi Arabia permanently must obtain a Final Exit Visa. In Saudi Arabia, the Final Exit Visa is also known as Khurooj Nihai.
This ensures that you can return to Saudi Arabia with a new visa if necessary in the future.
Furthermore, the Ministry of Interior and Labor has developed a more convenient method of checking your visa status. You can check the status of your Exit Visa online in two ways:
- MOL-official KSA’s website
- Absher website
It is important to note, however, that this visa is usually only valid for 60 days.

Saudi Arabia Final Exit Visa Requirements
Furthermore, ex-pats must have a valid passport in order to obtain this final visa. Saudi Arabia’s General Directorate of Passports has announced the requirements for an exit visa.
According to the announcement, ex-pats’ passports must be valid for at least sixty days. If your passport does not meet the validity requirements, you must renew it before applying for an exit visa.
