As part of the health digital transformation, the Saudi Arabian Ministry of Health has introduced an electronic certificate service for child vaccinations as an alternative to paper certificates.

This is done to make it easier for Saudi nationals and residents to access health services within the framework that enables them to keep track of vitally crucial children’s vaccines and to register them.

The Saudi Health Ministry urged all parents to self-register their children’s immunizations through the Sehhaty (My Health) application or through the vaccination documentation clinic in health centers. So that people may easily review, save, and consult it whenever they want online.

To provide health services to Saudi Arabian citizens, the Ministry of Health developed the Sehhaty app, which enables users to access health information and obtain a variety of health services offered by various health sector bodies.

The paper-to-online conversion of a child’s vaccination certificate using the Sehhaty app is done to make it easier to store and get the immunization records as needed.
