Employers are proactively given the registration service for foreign employees as soon as they enter the Kingdom, according to the General Organization for Social Insurance (GOSI). This is accomplished through data transfers with the pertinent governmental entities.

The organization made a point of stressing that employers must take the effort to finish the registration processes by submitting the information on actual wages or salaries through electronic services.

According to GOSI, the registration of the expatriate contributor based on the actual compensation would be important in preserving the rights of both the contributor and the employer under the terms of the contract, in accordance with the correct wage decided upon by the two parties.

The system will automatically calculate the contributor’s wage based on the average wage approved for establishments starting on February 1, 2023, the organization said in a statement, as reported by the Saudi Press Agency, in the event that the employer does not follow the procedures and is unable to determine the actual wage.

The GOSI statement claims that by login into the establishment’s account and submitting the application after carrying out the transaction electronically, employers can complete the processes through the “My Business Insurance” platform.
