SR5,000 penalties for unlawful passenger transportation at the Jeddah KAIA
Anyone attempting to illegally transport passengers through the arrival halls has been warned by King Abdulaziz International Airport (KAIA) in Jeddah.
Whoever commits this infraction will be required to pay an SR5,000 punishment, according to KAIA.
Notably, KAIA had already announced the start of the free shuttle service that would take pilgrims from Terminal 1 to the Grand Mosque in Makkah. https://bit.ly/3GEpTzR
To take use of the service, pilgrims must abide by donning Ihram. Residents must demonstrate their residency, while citizens must display their national identification (Iqama).
On the airport’s first floor, close to the aquarium, is the transportation area.
