The employer is responsible for covering the costs associated with changing a non-Saudi employee’s profession, according to the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development (MHRSD).
Additionally, according to MHRSD, businesses are responsible for paying a number of expenses for non-Saudi employees, including residence (Iqama) fees, work license renewal fees, and late payment fines.
Along with the non-Saudi worker’s return ticket to their home nation following the conclusion of the two parties’ contract, there are also exit and return expenses.
According to MHRSD, the employee is entitled to a free experience certificate following the termination of their employment agreement because it must specify their start and end dates as well as their last compensation.
