ZAMZAM WATER IS PROHIBITED FOR TRANSPORTATION IN SAUDI ARABIA.
The Saudi General Aviation Authority has officially announced the new policy, prohibiting pilgrims from bringing Zamzam—water from the Zamzam well—back to their home nations.
All airlines, All the pakistani airlines including PIA, have received the notification from the Jeddah Airport authorities. Aab-e-Zamzam bottles are prohibited from being carried by travellers passing through Jeddah or any other airport in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, according to a contract all airlines must abide by.
Only 5-liter bottles of Aab-e-Zamzam will be permitted for travelers with Umrah and Hajj visas, according to the announcement.
In the case that the new orders are broken, action will be taken against the airlines.
