10 new policies have been introduced to help Saudi Arabia’s tourism industry grow.

In order to expand the tourism industry and stay up with the renaissance that Saudi Arabia is experiencing across several industries, the Ministry of Tourism has introduced new 10 laws.

The new 10 regulations have been introduced in an effort to help create a favorable climate for investment that considers sustainability, creativity, and business accessibility.

This is in addition to enhancing the caliber of services offered, safeguarding the rights of visitors, and supporting the industry and expanding job possibilities.

The demands of the various industries have been considered in the new legislation. They were created after considering the suggestions and findings of numerous interested parties.

It has also covered the management of tourism hospitality facilities, travel and tourism services, tourist guides, private tourist hospitality facilities, experimental activities, inspection of tourism activities, and committees to look into tourism law infractions and tourist attractions.

Ahmed Al-Khateeb, the minister of tourism, has made it clear that the new laws mark the culmination of the steps the ministry has been striving to take in order to realize the objectives of the general strategy for the growth of national tourism.

According to Al-Khateeb, these regulations would enable the ministry to expand its collaboration with business and provide employment possibilities for local experts in the tourism industry.

He said that rules for controlling tourism and its many forms were incorporated in the regulations that were made in accordance with the legislation.

He pointed out that it has also expanded the market for tourism with new activities and procedures for setting up control and inspection to ensure the caliber of the services.

He also noted that the regulations made in compliance with the tourism law were created in accordance with global best practices that were chosen based on the World Economic Forum’s list of the top 10 countries for travel and tourist competitiveness (WEF).

Additionally, it is consistent with the leadership’s smart recommendations to create a strong global tourist industry.

Additionally, the ministry has given 90 days to dealers in the tourism industry to modify their terms to comply with the new requirements and norms.

In order to protect the rights of visitors, the caliber of the services provided, and to avoid facing legal repercussions and fines, the ministry has also urged those involved in the tourism industry to consider the new legislation’ provisions when engaging in tourism-related activities.

Dealers in the tourism industry can learn more about the new legislation by visiting the ministry’s website or by contacting the ministry through its official social media channels.
