The most populous Muslim nation, he claimed, Indonesia, was at the top of the list of nations that sent the most Umrah pilgrims. Iraq, Turkey, Pakistan, Malaysia, India, and Azerbaijan are the countries that come after Indonesia. He stated that there will be a rise in the number of Umrah pilgrims from various nations in the upcoming season.

More than 30 million worshipers visited the Grand Mosque during the first quarter of the current year 1444, according to the General Presidency for the Affairs of the Two Holy Mosques. This includes both domestic and overseas Umrah pilgrims. Over 40 million people made pilgrimages to the Prophet’s Mosque during this time to pray there.

The presidency claimed that in order to allow pilgrims and worshipers to carry out their rites in a spiritually charged environment, extensive preparations and sophisticated uses of modern technology, including robots and artificial intelligence, have been made.
