Minister of Human Resources and Social Development: 11 new Saudization decisions before the end of this year 2022

The Saudi Arabian Minister of Human Resources and Social Development, Eng. Prior to the end of this year 2022, the ministry plans to make 11 new Saudization decisions, according to Ahmed bin Sulaiman Al-Rajhi.

The Minister stated this during a meeting with businesspeople and women at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Riyadh. The Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development (MHRSD) comprises professions including project management, procurement, and the food and drug sector.

Al-Rajhi claimed that decisions made about the Saudization of various industries, occupations, and professions were a factor in the rise of Saudi nationals employed in the private sector to over 2.13 million male and female citizens.

• The Saudi population’s unemployment rate decreased to 9.7% thanks to the high participation of women in the economy, which accounts for 35.6% of total economic output. This achievement was praised along with the country’s efforts by the private sector to employ citizens and differentiate the partnership with businessmen and women to achieve the goals of the Saudi Vision 2030.

According to him, private sector businesses complied with the Saudi Labor Law and its rules at a rate of 98% in 2022. More than 74% of labor lawsuits are settled out of court amicably under the management of amicable labor dispute resolution.

While the wage protection system’s compliance rate has risen to about 80%, more than 3.8 million work contracts have been entered into the Tawtheeq program and posted online, ensuring that both the employee and the employer have a copy of the relevant paperwork.

Al-Rajhi mentioned the ministry’s services being automated as a component of a large-scale digital transformation effort. Over 3 million people and over 1 million businesses were served by 127 services offered through the Qiwa platform.

• Qiwa platform, which explains that the ministry expanded the services of Musaned platform from one service to more than 35 with 100% automated services, serving over 2 million beneficiaries, by providing more than 700,000 services per month to beneficiaries without the need to visit service offices.
• In his speech, Ajlan Al-Ajlan, the chairman of the board of directors of the Riyadh Chamber, emphasized that the private sector is a significant contributor to and participant in achieving the goals of Saudi Vision 2030 at all levels, the most crucial of which are the Saudization program and job creation. The private sector has contributed to Saudization projects to lower unemployment through partnerships and cooperation with MHRSD.
