4 risks of driving faster than the posted speed limit – Saudi Maroor

The General Directorate of Traffic (Moroor) in Saudi Arabia warned of the risks associated with driving faster than the posted speed limit and urged local expats and Saudi residents to do the same.

Through its official Twitter account, Saudi Moroor noted that among the dangers associated with going above the posted speed limit are

• The loss of vehicle control.
• Lack of capacity to exercise control in an emergency.
• The severity of collisions in accidents has increased.
• Difficulty avoiding other drivers’ speed-related errors.
