A foreign worker who transported illegal aliens to Saudi Arabia for 15,000 riyals was sentenced to five years in jail.

According to the Public Prosecution in Saudi Arabia, the Public Prosecution Office of Crimes Damaging Public Confidence’s investigations led to the charge of an Arab expat who allegedly transported illegal immigrants to Saudi Arabia from a neighboring country.

The investigation report disclosed the previously mentioned agreement with a transnational criminal gang to transport the infiltrators out of the country and ensure their arrival at their destination in the Kingdom in exchange for a payment of 15,000 riyals. This agreement was halted and referred to the appropriate court to demand legal penalties.

The Public Prosecution Office objected to the original judgment, which included evidence of what was allocated to him and sentenced him to five years in jail, and asked for a harsher punishment for the criminal.

The prosecution emphasized the necessity of entering Saudi Arabia solely through the country’s established official processes, where all demands pertaining to this topic were assisted.
