In order to bring their relatives into the Kingdom on a family visit (either in Single entrance or in Multiple Entry) visa, Saudi Arabia permits its permanent expats with iqama to apply for a family visit visa online.

After providing the few necessary facts, the entire family visit visa application process can be completed online in only a few clicks. Foreigners living in Saudi Arabia are now able to travel with the relatives listed below.

  1. Partner (Wife or Husband)
  2. Youngsters (Sons and Daughters)
  3. The Iqama holder’s parents (Mother and Father)
  4. The mother and father of the spouse who holds an Iqama.
  5. The brother and family of an Iqama holder (Wife and children) 
  6. Sister of an Iqama holder and her family,  (Husband and children)
  7. The spouse’s sister-in-law
  8. Brother-in-law (brother of the spouse)
  9. Grandparents 

Application requirements for a family visit visa online:

  1. Passports of people you intend to bring on a family visit visa must have a validity period of at least six months.
  2. An iqama that is valid for at least three months.

How to apply for a family visit visa online for expats living in Saudi Arabia:

  1. Open the Nafath application and authorize the request by selecting the number shown on your screen to log in. You can do this by entering your Iqama number or your Absher details and then verifying it by OTP.

  2. You can input your visa number or leave it blank in the next box, “Entry Visa Number.”
  3. Enter the visitor’s personal and passport information by clicking “Add” at this point.

  2. Type your name in English exactly as it appears on your passport.
  3. Enter the visitor’s date of birth, place of birth, and gender.
  4. You must enter your occupation in Arabic under “Occupation,” with housewife () being the most common choice.
  5. Type your email address and mobile number.
  6. From the list, choose “Religion” and “Relation” between the visitor and the bearer of the Iqama.

  2. After entering your visa details, choose the “Coming location” from the list of options to indicate where the visitor will be entering the country.
  3. Before clicking “Add,” you must choose the visa type, either “Single” or “Multiple” entry.
  • The Single Entry visa has a 30-day validity period and is extendable online eight times for a total of eight additional 30-day extensions. With this visa, the traveller may remain in Saudi Arabia for up to 270 days without leaving the country.
  • The term of the Multiple Entry visa is 90 days, with a potential further extension of 90 days. Following this extension, the visitor must leave the Kingdom and may then re-enter and stay for another 90 days.
  • Since the Chamber application is now available online, you may print it off and submit it through your business. This process only takes a few minutes. In the case of government employees, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs must receive their application. While the employer of domestic workers might approve this throughout his Absher account.
  • Following completion, you must wait and verify the progress of your application for a visit visa using your Request or Application number and Iqama number. If “Document Number” appears in place of “Request/Application Number,” your visa has been accepted, and you can send it back to your home country to continue the stamping process.
