Companies can fix Driver professions for free using the Qiwa platform.

The Saudi Arabian Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development’s Qiwa platform requested that businesses and institutions update certain occupations, such as driver, for which no free specifications are provided. These include ordinary drivers, public drivers, public drivers of cars, and public vehicle drivers.

The company must select a driver for one of the following specific activities, per the new amendments: private car, taxi, ambulance, locomotive, train, metro, motorcycle, car, mini truck, valet parking, bus, tram, heavy truck, gas truck, trailer truck, cement mixer, garbage truck, farm tractor, heavy equipment, and forklift.

Doctor, Expert, Specialist, Engineer, Specialized expert, worker, ordinary worker, and control technician are no longer available on the Qiwa platform.

According to the Saudi Standard Classification of Occupations, these professions can be classified as specialized professions. According to a Saudi Gazette story, the modification will only apply to the Qiwa platform for employees of businesses and not to other platforms or people.

For eight professions, when the move is regarded as a correction of those that have been canceled, there is an exemption from the cost for changing careers.

If a worker wants to rectify one of these professions more than once without incurring fees, he or she must select a profession for which the change of service fee is applicable.
