Saudi nationals and resident expatriates who intend to work during the Hajj season within the Holy sites can receive an Ajeer Al-Hajj work permit using the Ajeer platform, according to the Saudi Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development in collaboration with the Makkah Al-Mukarramah region.

According to the Ministry, the Ajeer platform’s ‘virtual labor market’ allows enterprises allowed to work during the Hajj season to publish their vacant job opportunities on an e-platform, allowing job seekers to assess these chances and apply to relevant job openings for them.

The platform also increases the labor market’s flexibility and mobility in terms of workforce solutions, as well as regulating temporary work and simplifying access to a workforce to meet market needs and increase labor productivity and effectiveness.
