Saudi Arabia Announced that the duration of the Umrah visa will be increased to three months.

Dr. Tawfiq Al-Rabiah, the Minister of Hajj, announced at a news conference that the Umrah visa would soon be extended to three months.

He explained that the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah is working on a program that will allow Umrah pilgrims to apply for their visas without the assistance of an agency. Local Hajj Registration 2022 Saudi Arabia – Apply Now

He went on to say that once the project is implemented, pilgrims would be able to seek for a three-month extension of their Umrah visa. Furthermore, Umrah visa holders would be free to go to any Saudi Arabian city. Human Resources clarifies on how to calculate Annual entitlements in Saudi Arabia

Previously, Umrah visa holders could only travel between Makkah and Madina, i.e. between Makkah, Madina, and Jeddah.
