Starting from Dhul Qaadah 10, 1443, equivalent to June 9, 2022, Saudi Airlines and Flyas have issued a warning to all travel firms to stop booking flights for all sorts of visit visa holders to the following four airports.
- Jeddah Airport.
- Madina Airport.
- Yanbu Airport.
- Taif Airport.
How long the ban will continue?
The entry prohibition on business and family visit visa holders to Jeddah, Madina, Yanbu, and Taif airports would remain in effect until Dhul Hijjah 10, 1443 AH, or July 9, 2022. Saudi Arabia will not allow alcohol to attract tourists
What if you have already booked flights?
If a visitor visa holder has previously booked Jeddah, Madina, Yanbu, or Taif airport for his arrival in Saudi Arabia between June 9 and July 9, he will be required to rearrange his flight to a different airport.
Is it possible for them to travel to other cities?
Only the airports of Jeddah, Madina, Yanbu, and Taif are subject to the entry ban. Visitors with visit visas can fly into other Saudi Arabian airports such as Riyadh, Dammam, and others. No entry into the Holy city Makkah without Permit, Starting Thursday – Saudi Public Security
Visit visa holders, on the other hand, are unable to fly to Jeddah, Madina, Yanbu, or Taif from any Saudi airport.
Can they travel by road?
We believe they are free to access any Saudi city by road, excluding Makkah, in the absence of any clear orders from any Saudi government.
Can they return from 4 banned airports?
Saudi Airlines has also stated that all visit visa holders should return from the same airport where they arrived.
In other words, a visitor visa holder who arrived at Riyadh airport will be unable to return to Jeddah airport. However, if he arrived at Jeddah airport, he can return from the same location.
