To travel to GCC countries, your passport must be valid for at least three months.

The General Directorate of Passports (Jawazat) has advised travelers to check the validity of their passports before traveling to Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) states and Arab countries.

Travelers entering the GCC States and Arab countries must guarantee that their passports have at least three months remaining validity, according to the Jawazat.

While it has been highlighted that people intending to go to other nations must have a passport with a validity period of at least 6 months.

It is worth noting that Saudi nationals and citizens of other GCC countries can now travel to and from Saudi Arabia using their national identity cards, following the lifting of the Jawazat’s travel ban. Only passports were allowed to be used as travel documents.
