The Ministry of Health has announced the availability of a second booster dose for people aged 50 and up.

After completing 8 months of taking the first booster dose, the Saudi Ministry of Health announced that a second booster dose is now accessible for anyone who are 50 years or older.

The Ministry of Health said that the second booster dose can be scheduled through the Sehhaty application at http://onelink.to/yjc3nj.

Through its 587 immunization stations, the Saudi government has distributed approximately 64,177,723 doses of corona vaccine throughout the Kingdom. There are 13,003,327 first booster doses among them. On Saturday evening, the Saudi Supreme Court has called on all Muslims in the Kingdom to see the Shawwal crescent.

The elderly received 1,957,289 doses of corona virus vaccine, with the first dosage being 26,419,732 and the second dose being 24,754,754.

In the last 24 hours, the Ministry of Health reported 106 new corona cases, 187 recoveries, and three fatalities. Following this, the overall number of corona cases in Saudi Arabia has risen to 753,632, with 741,058 cases recovered and 9,082 deaths.

The number of active corona cases in the Kingdom has risen to 3,492, with 45 of them being critical. Since the start of the epidemic in the Kingdom, the Ministry of Health has conducted 41,849,069 corona tests.
