Jawazat clarifies the extension and renewal of Saudi Arabia’s Multiple Visit Visa.

Saudi Arabia’s General Directorate of Passports (Jawazat) reiterated that the multiple visit visa cannot be renewed a second time and that visitors must adhere to visa regulations and leave the Kingdom before the visa expires.

In response, Jawazat wrote on Twitter that the orders call for adherence to visa regulations and departure from the Kingdom before the visa expires.

Earlier this month, numerous expats began complaining to Jawazat that its multiple visit visa renewal option was not working, since requests for it were being rejected after being submitted through Tawasul. While another user mentioned that after 90 days, you can extend your multiple visit visa for another 90 days by going to Jawazat only one day before it expires. There will be no renewal after 180 days; however, Jawazat may extend it for 14 days in specific instances so that the visa holder can depart the Kingdom before it expires.

Due to travel limitations and the stoppage of flights from the Kingdom to other destinations during the corona epidemic, Jawazat extended multiple visit visas without any constraints or limits through the Tawasul service. All travel restrictions have been lifted, and everyone must now adhere to the terms of the multiple visit visa.
