Saudi Arabia: Madina Al-Munawarrah First City That launches Fast charging service for Electric cars

In its first phase, the Municipality of Madina Region in Saudi Arabia introduced the region’s first rapid charging service for electric automobiles at the intersection of Sultana Road and Khalid bin Al Waleed Road.

The new charging service station’s goal is to encourage Saudi nationals and expats to use electric energy to cut carbon emissions and comply with environmental regulations. Even if the Employer’s services have been suspended, an expat iqama can be renewed – Jawazat

Authorities indicated that they will follow all safety procedures, specifications, and international norms. The gadget was given as a Tesla Wall connector, with a current range of 6 to 32 amps and a voltage range of 220 volts, and it will be able to charge the electric car for up to 8 hours.

This is the first time in Madina that an electric car charging facility has been implemented. This service is being prepared and deployed in seven distinct sites, according to reports, including three in the central region, Uhud Avenue, Airport Road, Al-Abbas bin Ubadah Walak, and Omar bin Al-Khattab Road.
