Saudi Arabia .. Sudair Observatory is preparing to monitor the crescent of Ramadan

The director of the Majmaah University Astronomical Observatory in Hotat Sudair, the seer Abdullah Al-Khudairi told us that the entry of the month of Ramadan according to Sharia is not based on predictions or astronomical calculations, but rather on a legitimate vision approved by the Supreme Court and announced by the guardian.

He added that today, Friday, the mathematical data indicate that the pairing will occur at 9:25 am, Riyadh time, and the sun will set in Makkah Al-Mukarramah at 6:36, while the crescent will set at 6:53.

As for the astronomical observatory, the sun will set at 6:13 at 275 degrees, and the crescent will set. The time is 6:29 at 273 degrees, meaning that the crescent will set approximately 16 minutes after the sun, with a height of 3.46 degrees and an elongation of 5.2 degrees.
