According to an announcement by the Abu Dhabi Media Office, persons who are not completely vaccinated can receive the Green Pass on the Al Hosn App starting of Thursday, March 25. You’ll need a negative PCR test result to do so, which will give you a Green status on the app for 48 hours.

If you’re unvaccinated or only partially vaccinated, you can get a Green Pass on the Al Hosn App if you get a negative PCR test result every 48 hours.

Visitors who are not completely vaccinated will be granted admission to events, tourist attractions, and cultural places in Abu Dhabi, according to the Abu Dhabi Emergency, Crisis, and Disasters Committee. They must show a negative PCR test within 48 hours to gain entry to certain public areas.

Abu Dhabi International Airport said earlier this year that all passengers arriving at the airport, whether or not they have been vaccinated, will no longer be subjected to an on-arrival PCR test.

The Abu Dhabi Emergency, Crisis, and Disasters Committee issued the first set of relaxations in COVD-19 limitations on February 25 and they took effect on February 28. Since then, a lot has happened.

On February 28, the Disasters Committee was established. Since then, persons entering Abu Dhabi from within the UAE have not been required to show an Al Hosn Green Pass. EDE scanners have also been removed from border checkpoints in Abu Dhabi.

The admittance criterion for non-vaccinated guests to events, tourist attractions, and cultural places has been amended by the Abu Dhabi Emergency, Crisis, and Disasters Committee as of March 17. Non-vaccinated people can now enter if they have a negative PCR test within 48 hours.

PCR tests were destroyed upon arrival.

On arrival PCR tests for unvaccinated and vaccinated travelers were abolished at Abu Dhabi International Airport. Unvaccinated travelers, on the other hand, will still be required to do a pre-departure PCR test within 48 hours. Passengers who have been vaccinated do not need to take a test before flying into Abu Dhabi as of February 26, 2022.

The Green Pass system and EDE scanners at border crossings are being phased out in Abu Dhabi.

The Abu Dhabi Emergency, Crisis, and Disasters Committee has approved the removal of EDE scanners and the requirement for a Green Pass to enter the emirate of Abu Dhabi from within the United Arab Emirates. This law only applies to anybody crossing the Emirate’s border.
