In Saudi Holders of all sorts of visas are permitted to book Umrah before visiting Saudi Arabia.

RIYADH, Saudi Arabia — The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah stated that holders of all sorts of visas can now arrange appointments to conduct Umrah before entering the Kingdom via the Eatamarna application.

The ministry stated that those seeking to conduct Umrah must obtain a visa to visit the Kingdom, emphasizing the necessity of checking the validity duration of the visa when registering and booking through the Eatamarna app.

In two cases, according to the ministry, the permit will be automatically revoked:

1 – If the person has been infected with COVID-19 or has come into contact with someone who has been infected.

2 – If the visa bearer does not arrive in Saudi Arabia at least 6 hours before the scheduled Umrah date, the visa will be revoked.

The Ministry revealed the steps for booking Umrah from outside the Kingdom through the Eatamarna app, saying that those who wish to perform Umrah must first sign in to the app, then select the visitor button and fill out the necessary information such as visa, passport number, email, nationality, and mobile number.

The app will check if they have a valid visa to enter the Kingdom to finish the registration procedure, as the beneficiary will receive the verification code on his registered email in the app.

Following the entry of the code, the user can select the type of permit he wishes to issue, as well as the suitable time and day.

The individual can next review all of the permissions that have been issued and purchase transportation services in the final step.
