Kingdom reopens visa program upon arrival for US, UK and Schengen visa holders

The Kingdom has reopened the visa upon arrival programme, which allows holders of valid visas from the United States of America, the United Kingdom and the Schengen area to enter its territory.

Citizens of these countries, travelling through one of the national airlines Saudi Arabian Airlines, NAS Air and Adele Airlines, can obtain a 12-month tourist visa upon arrival in the Kingdom, without having to apply in advance.

Visitors with a valid visa from these countries must use it at least once to enter the area where the visa was issued before using it to enter the Kingdom.

The visa option on arrival is available to citizens of e-visa countries launched in 2019, and all visitors must receive Corona Risk Medical Insurance, which can be obtained from all UK airports upon arrival.

Tourism Minister Ahmed Al Khatib said the kingdom is now one of the most accessible destinations in the world, whether for tourism, work or hajj and umrah.

He added that this reinforces the accelerated growth of the tourism sector and the provision of jobs and investment, again inviting and welcoming all visitors and tourists from different countries of the world to enjoy the treasures of tourism in the Kingdom, from destinations, landmarks, culture, heritage, generosity and welcome known to the authentic Saudi society.
