Saudi Arabia’s General Directorate of Traffic (Moroor) has revealed the time limit for using a recognized international or foreign driver’s license in the country.

According to Saudi Moroor, the validity time for a recognized international or foreign driving license is established at one year from the date of admission into the Kingdom or the expiration of the license validity period, whichever comes first.

Conditions for replacing a foreign private driver’s license :

Saudi Moroor previously detailed the conditions and procedures for replacing a foreign private driver’s license. The Traffic Department established the following conditions that must be met in order to profit from this service.

1. Filling out the needed Form information
2. 4 4×6 inch photographs
3. For Saudi nationals, a copy of their ID card; for non-Saudi nationals, a copy of their residence and passport.
4. Non-Saudis should bring their sponsor’s ID.
5. Make the required payment.
6. Foreign license translation, including the original.
7. Make a file to save the papers in.
