According to Faisal Al-Foudan, Assistant Undersecretary for Labor Affairs in Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Human Resources, the Friendly Settlement is an internet platform for resolving labor issues in the Kingdom.

During an interview on the Al-Youm program on the Al-Ekhbariya channel, Al-Foudan claimed that the friendly settlement plan is one of the National Transformation Program’s measures aimed at improving expatriate working conditions.

He also stated that the most important studies currently being conducted are those that integrate with Saudi Vision 2030, pointing out that labor lawsuits are being filed with the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development, which made every effort during the Corona pandemic to continue the work of friendly settlement to protect the rights of both the employer and the employee.

He went on to say that, in the past, friendly settlements were done manually through the parties to the litigation, submissions, and attendance of sessions in government offices, but that the service is now fully automated and available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
