4 work-related accidents that the GOSI system covers for its Contributor

In Saudi Arabia, the General Organization for Social Insurance (GOSI) revealed cases of job injuries covered under the insurance system’s occupational risks department.

In a recently produced infographic, the General Organization for Social Insurance explained the types of job injuries covered by the occupational risks division, which include: Domestic workers now have access to weekly off, annual leave, and end-of-service benefits under new regulations.

• An accident that occurs to a GOSI subscriber while they are at work or as a result of their work.

• The GOSI contributor’s accident on his way from his home to his workplace or vice versa, or on his way from his workplace to mosque or vice versa, or on his way from his workplace to where he eats or vice versa.

• An accident that occurs while the contributor is on the move, attempting to complete a duty assigned to him by his employer.

• Any of the diseases that have been demonstrated to be caused by work.
