Saudi Arabia has announced the discovery of new natural gas resources.

Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Saudi Arabia’s Minister of Energy, revealed that the Saudi Arabian Oil Company “Saudi Aramco” has discovered a number of natural gas reserves in the Kingdom’s central region, Empty Quarter, northern border region, and eastern region.

The “Shadun” natural gas field was discovered in the central region, 180 kilometers southeast of Riyadh, after gas flowed at a rate of 27 million standard cubic feet per day, with 3,300 barrels of condensate, according to the Minister.

He went on to say that when gas flowed at a rate of 31 million standard cubic feet per day from the Shehab-1 well in the Empty Quarter, 70 kilometers southwest of the Shaybah field, the “Shehab” natural gas field was discovered in the Empty Quarter, 70 kilometers southwest of the Shaybah field.

After gas flowed at a rate of 16.9 million standard cubic feet per day from the Al-Shorfa-2 well with 50 barrels of condensate, the “Al-Shorfa” natural gas field was discovered in the Empty Quarter, 120 kilometers southwest of the Shaybah field.

The “Samna” field of unconventional natural gas was also discovered in the Eastern region, south of the Ghawar field, 211 kilometers southwest of Dhahran city, where gas flowed at a rate of 5.8 million standard cubic feet per day with 24 barrels of condensate from the Sumna-2 well, 11.6 million standard cubic feet per day with 169 barrels of condensate from the Samna-104001 well, and gas flowed from Samna-6 well
