The Saudi General Directorate of Traffic (Moroor) clarified that a medical report is required for license renewal, noting that those outside the Kingdom can complete their data by visiting the Saudi attaché and taking the requisite test.

“The driver’s license has expired, but when I wanted to renew it, I was requested for a medical report, but I am now outside Saudi Arabia, Are there any alternative solutions to renew it without a medical report, thank you,” a Twitter user wrote.

“You can contact the Saudi attaché and complete the necessary formalities regarding the medical test and permit whomever you deem fit to review the Traffic Department with the original form, authorization, and license,” Saudi Moroor said in response. The prices for renewing a driver’s license in Saudi Moroor vary depending on the length of time. The cost of a two-year license is 80 Saudi riyals, a five-year license is 200 riyals, and a long-term license costs 400 riyals for a period of ten years without the need for renewal.
