The King Fahd Causeway has updated the procedures for entering and exiting Saudi Arabia.

The General Corporation of the King Fahd Causeway has announced that the procedures for exiting and entering Saudi Arabia will be updated beginning at 1 a.m. on Wednesday, February 9, 2022.

According to the King Fahd Foundation’s official Twitter account, all Saudi residents who have been 3 months since obtaining the second dosage of the Corona vaccine must receive the booster dose (3rd dose) before leaving the country.Read More: Saudi Arabia has imposed new travel restrictions related to Corona virus.

The Foundation further said, “Exceptions are made for those under the age of 16, as well as exempted groups, based on their status in the “Tawakkalna” application.

“All newcomers to the Kingdom, including citizens and residents, regardless of their vaccination status, must submit a negative result for an approved “PCR test,” the authority said “Within 48 hours of leaving or entering the Kingdom, you must take a test. The Foundation further added that citizens who, as a result of the tests showed that they were infected with the Covid-19, are allowed to enter the Kingdom after 7 days have passed from the date of the positive sample for those who completed receiving approved vaccine doses in the Kingdom, and 10 days from the date of taking the positive sample for those who did not complete receiving approved vaccine doses in the Kingdom, without the need for re-testing.
