Saad Al Hammad, the official spokesperson for Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development, announced the permanent removal of an employee after he sent offensive tweets.
According to Al-Arabiya news, the ministry validated the company where an expatriate of Arab nationality worked for the purpose of generating offensive tweets.Read More: Saudi Arabia has imposed new travel restrictions related to Corona virus.
He stated that the employee was fired as soon as the company became aware of his offensive tweets, and that the expatriate had left the Kingdom with a final exit visa.
In a second report, Al-Ekhbariya channel highlights the plight of expat workers in the Kingdom, stating that 14,480 workers are unqualified for employment in the Kingdom due to their failure to pass the required tests under the “professional examination” program, which aims to improve the quality of the professional workforce’s work.
The professional examination program, according to the Al-Ekhbariya channel, works through 34 facilities and requires all enterprises to examine their staff in the specified professions. Where it aspires to be a leading contributor to the development of the professional workforce in accordance with worldwide standards that fulfill market needs, as well as boosting labor market productivity.
