The New Saher cameras are high-resolution cameras that can rotate 360 degrees to record images in all directions. Some of the features listed below are still being tested.
1– Speed Limit
New Saher cameras, like older Saher cameras, can detect when a vehicle is exceeding the posted speed limit. The old Saher Camera had a flaw in that it couldn’t detect when trucks were over the speed limit.
New Saher cameras, on the other hand, have the capability of detecting each vehicle’s speed limit infringement separately.

2- Crossing Red Light
The Saher cameras installed at traffic signals are capable of detecting both red light violations and speeding. I’ve been penalized once by a traffic signal camera for exceeding the speed limit.
3- Changing Lanes
New Saher cameras put on billboards may detect if a car is changing lanes too frequently. These breaches will now be recognized by the system thanks to new Saher cameras. Read More: A Saudi driver was arrested for sexually harassing a disabled girl.

4- The distance between 2 vehicles
The new Saher cameras can also calculate the distance between two vehicles. The ideal distance between two automobiles varies depending on the vehicle. This functionality is currently being tested. Read More: A horrific video of the moment a man was run over and robbed after he left Fajr prayer

What is considered a safe distance?
3 seconds for a sedan automobile.
4 seconds for SUVs.
5 seconds for heavy vehicles.
5- Average Speed between 2 Saher Cameras
In general, people drive their automobiles faster than the posted speed limit and then slow down as they get close to the Saher cameras.
They have now developed new Saher cameras that measure the average speed of two Saher cameras. This functionality is, however, still in the experimental stage.

6– Speaking on Mobile, not Wearing Seat Belt
The new Saher cameras are high-resolution cameras that can rotate 360 degrees to collect images in all directions. Violations as minor as talking on a cell phone or not wearing a seatbelt can be detected by the cameras.
7- Off the Road, Off the Camera?
The Saher system keeps track of not only highways, but also service lanes, exit roads, and any other nearby crossroads.
Not only will the installation of these new Saher cameras improve traffic safety, but it will also result in a significant reduction in street crime.

8- License Plate Recognition
New Saher Cameras are equipped with a License Plate Recognition System, which is used to detect those who break traffic signals as well as for statistical purposes at city entrances and exits.
