The Department of Amicable Settlement in Riyadh, a regional department of the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development, was able to reach an agreement with a Saudi worker in a contracting company and recover his financial rights in the amount of four million Saudi riyals.

Dr. Muhammad bin Abdullah Al-Harbi, Director General of the Riyadh region’s branch of the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development, explained that the resolution in the invitation was to hand him his overdue salaries, end-of-service benefits, and other financial rights due to the facility’s closure.

During the first phase of the issue’s discussion, one virtual resolution session will be held. Cases of labor disputes between the employee and the employer in which an attempt is made to bring the two parties’ points of view closer together and perform a mediation process to resolve the disagreement and, if feasible, establish an acceptable solution that satisfies both sides.

If the matter is not brought to the labor court by the accuser within 21 working days of the first session, the case will be referred to the labor court by the accuser.
