Muhammad Al-Abdali, the official spokesperson for Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Health, stated that the health situation in Tawakkalna is critical for everyone. After the first incidence of Omicron was recorded in the Kingdom, he delivered a message to nationals and resident expats.
During a press conference today, he stated that permanent procedures are being taken to monitor the Kingdom’s epidemiological situation. We must protect ourselves from mutated versions by receiving two doses of vaccination or a booster dose, wearing a mask in enclosed spaces, washing or sanitizing our hands on a regular basis, and travelers must adhere to all travel restrictions.
– Al-Abdali continued, “Our faith in God is strong, and we have high confidence in our health support in hospitals and health institutions, as well as in many sectors that assist in the fight against the epidemic.”
In view of the ongoing corona pandemic and the advent of new mutations, he added, “The entire globe is concerned.” Anyone who looks to be in contact with a quarantined home or institution must follow the preventive procedures and health requirements.
People who come into contact with infected people or who are subjected to quarantine and isolation have a national and moral responsibility, and they should be aware of it.” Those who distribute false information must quit endangering others and society members.
– In the last 24 hours, the Ministry of Health has registered 34 new corona infections, 26 new recoveries, and 1 death, bringing the total number of corona cases in the Kingdom to 549,786 instances, of which 538,939 have been recovered and 8,837 have died.
The number of active corona cases in Saudi Arabia has increased slightly to 2,010, with 39 of them being serious and requiring urgent care. The Health Ministry completed 44,284 corona tests in the last 24 hours, bringing the total number of corona tests performed throughout the Kingdom to 31,538,438 since the outbreak began.
Through its 587 vaccination stations, the Saudi government has administered over 47.44 million (47,449,878) doses of Corona vaccine across the Kingdom, with 358,393 booster doses and 1,719,892 doses given to the elderly.
– According to the Ministry, more than 22.47 million (22,470,514) persons received two doses of the corona virus vaccine, while 24,620,971 people received only one dosage.
