How to Register with the SCE (Saudi Council of Engineers) as a Technician

The Saudi Council of Engineers has a procedure for registering technicians.

Engineers and technicians from other countries who work in Saudi Arabia must register with the Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE). The SCE registration process is outlined below for technicians with or without a diploma certificate.

Documents Required:

1. Photographs
2. A scanned copy of your Iqama
3. A self-attested authorisation letter
4. Employment letter from sponsor
5. A scanned copy of your passport SCE fees

Fees for SCE

SR 500 registration fee
The annual membership fee is SR 200.

For one year, the registration fee is SR 500 and the membership fee is SR 200.

SCE Registration for Technicians

The Saudi Engineering Council’s website can be found at https://www.saudieng.sa/.

To become a member of the Saudi Council, go to “Join to Saudi Council Membership.”

Fill in the following details:

1. Nationality
2. Email ID
3. In the “Membership Classification,” choose “Technician.”
4. New Password
5. Preferred Notification : English Language
6. Iqama Number or Border Number
7. Mobile Number

To finish the registration process, click “Register.”

Now enter your username and password to access the site.

Upload a photo of yourself and fill in the rest of your personal information, such as:

1. Nationality
2. Gender
3. Job Title
4. City of Residence
5. Employer
6. Region
7. English Name
8. Arabic Name
9. Country of Birth
10. Date of Birth

Select Membership as the next step. Years of service: 1, 2, or 3

“Next” should be selected.

Select the following response to the question Do you hold a diploma certificate? on the next page: Yes or no is the answer.

If you choose yes, you must provide the following information:

• Specialization
• Graduation Country
• Name of the College or University
• Graduation Year

Click “Next”

Now, upload all of the essential documents for registration as a Saudi council of engineers technician.

• Iqama / Border Number (Upload a clear copy of Iqama. In case of register with border number upload a photo copy of visa together border number)
• Self Attested Authorization Letter
• Employment Letter (It must be attested by chamber of commerce)
• Copy of Passport

Click “Finish” when you’ve uploaded all of the required documents.

A SADAD number will be sent to your registered mobile number through SMS. By ATM or internet banking, you must pay SR 500 in registration fees.

The SCE will begin verifying your documentation once you have paid the SR 500 charge for Saudi engineering council registration for technicians. They may ask for further documents or a clear copy of the same document.

After the verification procedure is completed, the Saudi Council of Engineers will send you an SMS with instructions on how to pay the membership cost.

When you pay for it, your account status will be upgraded to Yaqeen verified and Jawazat updated.
