Procedure for transferring Employee services from Employer to Another through Qiwa

The Qiwa platform of the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development of Saudi Arabia identified the procedure and details of transferring employee services from one employer to another.

The Qiwa platform clarified on its website that the service of transferring the services of an employee from one employer to another is an electronic service and requires an individualโ€™s approval of the request in the Qiwa

1. Log in to the company’s account.

2. Choose an ‘Employee Transfer’ service from the ‘Electronic Services’.

3. Choose an ‘Employee transfer service from another employer’.

4. Select the facility you want to transfer the worker to.

5. Add the details of the workers whose service you want to transfer to your company.

6. Adding an employment contract for each worker.

7. Submit the request.

The request will be sent to the employee Qiwa individuals, and the new employer must remember the employee to enter the Qiwa Individual portal to take the acceptance or rejection procedure within 10 days from the date of the request, according to the Qiwa platform.

Steps for Transferring the employee between the unified number establishments :

1. Sign in to the company’s account

2. Choose an ’employee transfer’ service from the electronic services

3. Choose an employee transfer service between the unified number facilities

4. Choose the facility you want to transfer the worker to.

5. Choose the worker to be transferred.

6. Add an employment contract for each worker.

7. Submission of the application.

The Qiwa platform also confirmed the eligibility requirements for establishment to submit a request to transfer services as follows:

1. Validity of the commercial register.

2. The status of the facility must be existing.

3. Validity of work licenses in all unified number establishments.

4. Obligation to protect wages.

5. All other entities under the consolidated number in the Green band at least medium or green very small for small enterprises class A, except for the current entity.

6. Availability of sufficient foundation balance for the transfer.

The employee’s services can also be transferred directly when one of the following conditions is met:

1. If the employee’s work permit is not valid.

2. If the employee’s residence iqama is not valid.

In this case the new employer submitted the application to the employee after the expiry of the residency or work permit, and if the application was submitted before that, the employee will enter the notice period, according to the Qiwa platform.
