The pilgrims (today Friday) performed their rituals and Friday prayers in the Grand Mosque, without social distancing, for the first time in about a year and a half since it was implemented as part of the precautionary measures to confront the emerging Corona virus.

The Ministry of Interior had announced, earlier this week, easing the precautionary measures and allowing the use of the full capacity of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque , while allowing the entry of immunized worshipers with two doses of the anti-Coronavirus vaccine.

And they stressed the obligation to wear a muzzle at all times in all the corridors of the two mosques, and to continue to use the “Umrahna” or “Tawakulna” applications, to take the dates of Umrah, prayer and visit to control the numbers present at the same time.
