Hajj and Umrah” permits for Umrah to be opened for age groups from 12-18 years, on the condition of immunization “two doses

The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah confirmed that age groups could obtain Umrah permits for domestic pilgrims from 12-18 years old, with the condition of receiving “two doses” of immunization, with the start of the Umrah season starting today. More than 13,000 permits were issued for this age group; To enable them to perform Umrah and visit the Prophet’s Mosque.

The Deputy Minister of Hajj and Umrah, Dr. Abdel-Fattah Mashat, explained that the issuance of permits for Umrah is through the two applications “Umrah and We Trust in Us”, amid an integrated system of services and preventive measures taken for the safety and health of those wishing to perform the rituals of Umrah and visit.

He added that the ministry worked, in coordination with other concerned authorities, before the start of the Umrah season 1443 AH, to put in place executive mechanisms and create a safe and easy environment for the pilgrims throughout their journey to achieve security, safety and human health.
