The Ministry of Interior: Two conditions to allow citizens to travel to Bahrain

official source at the Ministry of Interior stated that, in addition to the statement issued on Ramadan 20 1442 AH corresponding to May 2, 2021 AD, regarding the approval of the lifting of the suspension of citizens ’travel outside the Kingdom, it has been decided that allowing citizens to travel to Bahrain will be in accordance with several conditions.

The source pointed out that the conditions included that travelers be over the age of 18 years, and that their health status in the “Tawakalna” app should be immunized, meaning that he has completed doses of the “Covid 19” vaccine or a recovering immune, and this does not include those immunized with a single dose.

He added that exceptions are made for those holding a diplomatic visa, diplomats and their escorts, official delegations, air navigation crews, marine crews, truck drivers and their assistants, and those connected to health supply chains

He stressed the need for everyone to adhere to the precautionary measures and preventive measures, and not to be complacent in applying health requirements, such as social distancing, wearing a muzzle, and continuously disinfecting hands, and applying the approved protocols.

He pointed out that all procedures and measures are subject to continuous evaluation by the Public Health Authority, “Weqaya”, according to the developments of the epidemiological situation.
