Replacing the phrase “for Muslims only” with “to the extent of the Haram” in the road signs in Medina (photos)

The concerned authorities in Al-Madinah Al-Munawwarah replaced the signboards that receive visitors to it with the famous phrase “Muslims only” in the middle of a red warning color, to the phrase “to the extent of the Haram.”

Widespread pictures of road signs in Medina also show the replacement of the old Arabic calligraphy with the “civil line”, as a method for writing signboards on its lanes, with the aim of enhancing the components of its visual identity.

It is noteworthy that the entry ban for non-Muslims is limited only to the borders of the Civilian Sanctuary, while they are allowed to enter the rest of Medina, as well as the governorates and centers affiliated with it.
