COVID-19: Oman suspends travel from India, Pakistan, Bangladesh

Oman will suspend entry for travelers from India, Pakistan, and Bangladesh starting April 24, 2021, the Oman News Agency reported on Wednesday.

The decision was made by the Supreme Committee to curb the spread of the coronavirus.

According to a statement issued today, the Sultanate bans passengers traveling from India, Pakistan, and Bangladesh or transiting through these three countries over the last 14 days.

The new decision will come into effect starting at 6 p.m on April 24, 2021, until further notice.

However, the decision exempts diplomats, health workers, and their families.
