The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah in Saudi Arabia has set mechanisms and controls for those coming for Umrah pilgrimage from abroad, explaining that they need to go to the care Center in Makkah 6 hours before performing the Umrah, and check the status of immunization as per the type of approved vaccines.
The Ministry sets Mechanisms and Controls for People Coming for Umrah from Abroad, explaining the following controls :
* Going to the care center in Makkah 6 hours before performing the Umrah
The pilgrim hand over his bracelet and make sure that it is worn during his stay at the center and direct it to the retina assembly center.
* Commitment to the date and period of Umrah assigned to the pilgrim.
Check the immunization status according to the type of approved vaccines.
* Show the wristband upon arrival to the gathering center to verify the pilgrim’s data and the permit.
The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah had previously confirmed the launch of the apps Eatmarna and Tawakkalna in their updated versions, through cooperation with the Saudi Authority for Data and Artificial Intelligence. So that through them, citizens and residents can request the issuance and reservation of Umrah, visit and prayer permits during the blessed month of Ramadan, with the exclusivity of displaying the permits on the Tawakkalna application.
This technical integration between the two applications comes in line with the decision to raise the possible operational capacity to implement the precautionary measures in the Grand Mosque, and to verify the security features of the beneficiary of the permit and the status of his immunization, and the Ministry highlighted the need to stick to the precautionary and preventive measures and to reserve permits through the approved official platforms.
