The astronomer Dr. Khaled Al-Zaq said that it is more likely that the blessed month of Ramadan will begin next Tuesday.
Al-Zaq added that the moon will set on the evening of next Sunday before sunset, and at that time there will be no presence of the moon’s body after sunset.
He pointed out that the moon will stay for about 20 minutes on the evening of next Monday, and it will fall south of sunset, and based on those criteria, it will not be possible to see the crescent and it will be the first of Ramadan next Tuesday.
